What happened to all the submissions about how the comics have made people think and evaluate their lives and the current state of things? Now it's all: "I hate this" and "I miss that". Unfortunate.
Such is the life of a confession blog on tumblr, wherein the entire fandom is vocal and largely displeased. It’s also the trend in life: when you’re upset, you complain. When you’re content, you stay quiet, because, hey, why spare the energy to announce your pleasure when you could be out enjoying whatever is making you happy?
As for the “become” part, I’m pretty sure confessions on here have been largely on the negative end of the spectrum since the blog’s birth. There’s one or two gems of happiness and inspiration, but people tend to prefer arguing a new point rather than happily agreeing with ‘THIS!!11! omg lyke MY LIFE1’. That’s why reblogs on the antagonistic confessions are way more numerous.

“I wish people would stop dismissing GLTAS because of the animation style or because they might not like Hal Jordan that much. The writing/worldbuilding is amazing, and all the characters are expertly handled by the writers, voice actors, and animators. The animation style will grow on you (it’s actually quite detailed!) and the music is a treat as well. Imho, the overall quality is on the level of Avatar: The Last Airbender.”

“I like the idea of justice league dark giving more lime light to the other characters who don’t share spots on the justice league because of the whole magic thing messes with superman their golden boy. But it makes me incredibly fearful for the future of Vertigo’s line since they are going to mass Vertigo’s line into one gigantic bloody messy pulp of 52 and they don’t even care. Oh god DC is going to destroy the one thing I like about them.”
